How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice
If you believe copyrighted material that you own, or are authorized to represent, is being infringed on Blessings Heaven, you may submit a written notification.
To help us evaluate the complaint and for the notification to satisfy the requirements of the DMCA where applicable, please include the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
The notice should be signed by the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf. - Identification of the copyrighted work.

Please Be Specific About the Material
The quickest way for us to review a complaint is to identify the exact material involved.
Instead of sending only the Blessings Heaven homepage address, please provide the URL of the individual article or page containing the material.
When relevant, it is also helpful to provide:
- The title of the Blessings Heaven article.
- A description or screenshot showing the material in question.
- A link to your original work.
- A portfolio, publication page, registration record, or other information supporting your ownership claim.

What Blessings Heaven Does With a Notice
When Blessings Heaven receives a copyright complaint, we may review the identified material, the information supplied by the complainant, and any available licensing or source records.
Where a notice is complete and appears valid, Blessings Heaven may act expeditiously to remove the material or disable access to it while the issue is addressed.
Depending on the circumstances, we may also contact the person who supplied or posted the material.
If a notice does not contain enough information for us to identify the copyrighted work or locate the allegedly infringing material, we may request additional information before action can be taken.
Receipt of a complaint does not itself constitute an admission by Blessings Heaven that infringement occurred.
Counter-Notification After Removal
In some circumstances, a person whose material has been removed or disabled in response to a copyright notice may believe the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
Where the DMCA counter-notification process applies, that person may submit a written counter-notification.
A valid counter-notification should substantially include:
- A physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the person has a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- The person’s name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
- A statement agreeing to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original infringement notification, or that person’s agent.
These counter-notification elements follow the current U.S. Copyright Office description of the Section 512 process.
What Happens After a Counter-Notification
If Blessings Heaven receives a valid counter-notification in circumstances governed by the DMCA, a copy may be provided to the party who submitted the original infringement notice.
Where the statutory procedure applies, removed material may be restored not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receipt of a compliant counter-notification, unless the original complainant provides notice that an appropriate legal action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity has been filed.
Blessings Heaven reserves the right not to restore material for separate lawful reasons, including violations of site policies, privacy concerns, security issues, or other rights unrelated to the copyright complaint.
Notices Must Be Submitted in Good Faith
Please do not use the DMCA process to remove material merely because you dislike criticism, commentary, comparison, reporting, or another lawful use.
Anyone submitting a copyright notice should carefully evaluate their claim and confirm that they have the authority to act for the relevant copyright owner.
The DMCA provides consequences for knowingly making material misrepresentations in infringement notices or counter-notifications.
Blessings Heaven may seek appropriate remedies where the copyright process is intentionally abused.
Repeat Copyright Infringement
Where Blessings Heaven offers features that allow users, contributors, account holders, or other third parties to submit or store content, repeated copyright violations will not be tolerated.
When appropriate and where applicable to the service being provided, Blessings Heaven may restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe the copyright rights of others.
Section 512 requires qualifying service providers seeking its safe-harbor protections to adopt and reasonably implement a policy concerning repeat infringers.
A single allegation does not automatically establish infringement, and each situation may be considered according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Our Right to Remove Material
Nothing on this page prevents Blessings Heaven from removing, restricting, editing, or disabling access to material for reasons separate from a DMCA notice.
For example, material may be removed because it violates site policies, creates privacy concerns, contains inaccurate information, infringes another type of intellectual property, presents a security risk, or is no longer appropriate for publication.
